How many times a day when you are using Photoshop you stop and ask yourself a question that begins something like “How do I…” or “Where is…” or “What the…”? In these tutorials you will learn how to set up Photoshop to create the most trouble-free working environment and how to solve dozens of common problems faced when working with this complex and powerful program. I’ll start it today by “reducing the noise effect”.

Q: What is “noise” and how can i avoid or reduce it?
A: Images captured in low light always has a hight digital noise, when you try to increase the exposure of the image you will see green and red dots. To reduce this noise:
Option one: go to the menu bar » Filter » Noise » Reduce Noise, in the Reduce Noise dialog box make the Preserve Details: 0%, Sharpen Details: 0% And increase Reduce Color Noise till the nosie disappear.

Option two: go to the menu bar » Filter » Noise » Despeckle which absolute no control, it’s simply identify and reduces some speckling by repeating the filter a number of times, but not effective as the first option.

Option Three: go to the menu bar » Image Size, in the Image Size dialog box reduce the image size by 25%in “Pixel Dimentions” using “Bicubic Smoother” in “Resample Image” after you have dont that return to the image size dialog box change the “Resample Image” to “Bicubic” and resize back up the original size the “Pixel Dimensions” to 400%, you will see that much of the noise is smoothed out and it’s helpful in many images.
